Some Cancer Mutations Slow Tumor Growth

Cancer Mutations

Scientists have found that a regular cancer cell, has thousands of mutations scattered around and hundreds of mutated genes around it's genome. What surprises scientists is that only a handfull of these genes are responsible for cancerous traits (Like uncontrolled growth), they're known as drivers. Although biologists have ignored the other mutations it is believed that they have little to no impact on cancer's progression. This article interested me because I've always found cancer to be a very curious thing. Something people said was, in most cases, incurable. I've seen many people I care about deal with cancer and the negative side effects of Kimo-Therapy. I can connect this article to my life, as I mentioned before I have seen people I care about go through cancer, or help in trying to cure it. My second cousin died at about 20 years of age because of cancer, my Uncle has tried to make cures of liver and limb cancer. And the major one is that I had an uncle that was diagnosed with cancer and was told he only had 3 months of life left, and he changed his diet and his way of living, and he has been living for 12 years since, and every couple of months he goes to the doctor to see the progression and growth effects of the cancer in his body. Of the Area of Interaction I think that Human Ingenuity and Health are being applied. Human ingenuity is being applied because biologists are going beyond what they already know and find things like these out which may pave the way for new discoveries in the controlling of the growth in cancer, and it may even get to the point where it may be cured. Hopefully! And I believe Health is being used as well because it's things like this that will make people that are in fact diagnosed with cancer are aware of what is going on in their body.
